Fall Fest Approaches!
Join us for family fun at Fall Fest, located at Otter Creek Lake & Park on Oct 6, 2024 from 12-4 pm. We have an amazing lineup for Fall Fest this year! Free activities for visitors include a live insect display by the Iowa State Univesity Insect Zoo, archery mobile range provided by Poweshiek County Conservation, adoptable animals petting zoo by the Tama Co. Humane Society, crafts and information from Tama Co. 4-H/ISU Extension, kids' crafts by the Central Iowa Arts Asscociation, conservation Information from Brett Reece (DNR officer), visit from the Toledo IA Public Library, and assorted lawn games.
We will also have a myriad of vendors to enjoy around the nature center! Food vendors include:
- Clare's Tenderloin (tenderloins, chips, smoothies)
- Everyday Sweets Bakery (baked goods)
- Most Wanted Coffee (coffee & breakfast foods)
- Quick & Fresh Kitchen (Crab Rangoons, sushi, boba)
- Weinie Wonderland (Hot dogs, sandwiches, pitas, and more. Has vegetarian option)
