To register, please fill out and return the Tama County 2024 Camp Registration Form with payment. Forms may be submitted in-person (we will have forms available to fill out), via email to rgenaw@tamacounty.org, or via mail to Tama County Conservation ATTN: Naturalist, 2283 Park Rd, Toledo, IA 52342. Tama County is seeking an individual who is interested in being part of our Conservation Board.
The purposes of this chapter are to create a county conservation board and to authorize counties to acquire, develop, maintain, and make available to the inhabitants of the county, public museums, parks, preserves, parkways, playgrounds, recreational centers, county forests, wildlife and other conservation areas, and to promote and preserve the health and general welfare of the people, to encourage the orderly development and conservation of natural resources, and to cultivate good citizenship by providing adequate programs of public recreation." - Iowa Code, Chapter 350
Meetings are held on monthly at the Tama County Nature Center at 2283 Park Road in Toledo.

The Iowa Junior Naturalist Program promotes awareness of natural and cultural resources of Iowa by rewarding children for engaging in educational programming and self-directed activities. Ran through the Iowa Association of Naturalists, this program is offered state-wide each calendar year and is now supported by Tama County Conservation!
