Job Description

The Tama County Civil Service Commission will conduct testing for a deputy sheriff position with the Tama County Sheriff’s Office on June 27, 2026.  Applicants must meet the minimum requirements of the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy and Code of Iowa relating to deputy sheriff positions.  Applications may be obtained by contacting the Personnel Director of the Tama County Civil Service Commission for Deputy County Sheriff’s at 641-484-3020 for further information.  Alternatively, applications may be requested by email at attorney@tca.tamacountyiowa.gov, please include your name, address, telephone number(s).
