Excavator Operator

Toledo Shed B Excavator Operator full-time position. Starting pay per hour: $28.38


Responsibilities: Based out of Toledo Shed B, under direction of the Road Foreman, the position is responsible for basic operation and maintenance of an excavator and other duties as assigned. This is a designated Utility Worker 2 wage classification. Winter operations will include plowing snow with a motor grader and driving a plow truck supplementing existing routes. The route covered will be fluid to assist where it is needed most and will vary from event to event. The operator is also responsible for equipment upkeep, digital reporting, and public interaction. Must be able to perform required duties in a satisfactory manner without continuous supervision. Requirements: Graduation from high school, or GED. Possess and maintain a valid State of Iowa Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with no air brake, manual transmission or tractor-trailer restrictions. Starting wage is $28.38 per hour with full benefit package. With the exception of poor road conditions, employees can generally expect to work from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
